The difference between three states of 6061 aluminum plates

The main alloy elements of the 6061 aluminum plate are magnesium and silicon. It has medium strength, good corrosion resistance and good oxidation effect. 6061 aluminum plates are widely used after heat treatment, and 6061 aluminum alloy plates are applied to automatic mechanical parts, precision machining and various moulds.

6061 aluminum plate in common use:

The T6 state is the most used for 6061 aluminum alloy, and the 6061 aluminum plate is in the middle plate, quenching medium plate section stretching machine aging treatment sawing machine polishing packaging. The whole production cycle is about 10 days. After solid solution heat treatment, cold processing is not necessary. It can be straightened and leveled, but it does not affect the mechanical properties.

The F state is the free processing state of 6061 aluminum alloy, which is suitable for the special products of the processing hardening and heat treatment conditions during the forming process. F state short production cycle: plate - Section - sawing machine polishing (or not polishing, according to customer requirements) - packaging, the entire process can be well arranged 3 days of shipment, F properties do not require customers according to their specifications, the F state and heat treatment processing, production as required use. The relative price is also the cheapest.

The O state is the lowest strength processing product of 6061 aluminum alloy after complete annealing. It is suitable for 6061 aluminum alloy 8 thin plate, its production process: cold rolling products thickness, stretch bending, straightening, cleaning, full annealing, flying shear slice (or stretch bending and straightening out finished products), packaging and warehousing, and so on. The production cycle is next to T6 state.
